September 13, 2011I had fun making the little “movie” at the beginning. It was also fun to go through the A/V room. Amongst the videos were lots of old video and audio equipment including a VCR from 1971!
Penguin Facts – Outtakes
June 27, 2011You know, not a lot of people know this, but I record Penguin Facts all by myself. I spend a lot of time staring at the camera trying to think up the best way to say a joke.
One day, I thought that if anybody was watching me, they’d probably think I looked pretty silly. You be the judge.
Dude Bus II – The Sequel
June 16, 2011A little over a year ago, the coolest bus I’ve ever seen rolled into the museum filled with school kids on a field trip. It seemed like the kind of bus that would be designed by a bunch of dudes with too much money. So I made a very quick video about it.
This week, I was pleased to see the same school come to visit the museum and was even more pleased that they brought the same bus! I had to make another video (above). I spoke briefly to the driver, who assured me that the bus was “all over YouTube.” It didn’t take long to realize that he was talking about my previous video. He didn’t seem to recognize me from the video and I didn’t have the nerve to tell him that it was me (even though he didn’t seem upset).

June 7, 2011This is a great project, and I’m really glad to be a part of it. It was weird editing this piece since I’m featured it it. Does my head really look like that? One benefit of being the editor here is that I could include a cameo by Mom and Dad!
